Hel adorned with Amazonite
Hel is the daughter of Loki; goddess of death, and the ruler of the underworld (Helheim). She is depicted having a split appearance, one light and white, the other black and rotting. Both dead and alive, light and dark.
Though she could be seen as a negative being, by embodying Hel through this pendant, my intention is to invoke support during transitionary times, shadow work, healing after death, understanding grief, and embracing duality.
Amazonite is known as the “Stone of Courage and Truth”, encourages emotional balance and communication, balances dualities
Tarot Counterpart: DEATH- transformation, endings, new beginnings, shedding old habits and what no longer serves you, rebirth, transitions
